Well, here we are--6 months later and I have finally decided to post again! Yay Me!! Just to let any interested know, we are all doing well.
Adam is now 6 months old and just about crawling. Actually, I don't know if he ever will crawl, he might just go straight to walking. YIKES!! He gets on his hands and knees, then goes on his tippy-toes, then he walks on his feet a few strides and throws himself forward on his stomach. He then does the whole process over again. It is quite hilarious to watch. I fear he is going to be just like Josh--climbing, crawling and getting into everything in site. Ah well, chasing him around will be an easy way to drop those
last few pounds of pregnancy weight hanging around! He has also started eating solids this last month. He gets so excited when we come near him with a bowl of food. He shakes his arms and jumps up and down in his chair. Love it!
Josh is now almost 2-and a half. After being in nursery for almost a year, we can finally drop him off without him breaking down and throwing a tantrum. His nursery teacher has been absolutely wonderful with him. He talks about seeing "Mister Perry" (actually Sister Perry) all week long. He is talking like crazy and is quite the jokester.
Joseph is almost 5, which honestly blows my mind. He is so excited to go to Kindergarten next year. I get sad thinking it will be my last year at home with him. Better make good use of the time I suppose! Today we had our Primary Program. Joseph had to give two small talks, which he helped write. He did great with them and had them almost memorized. He did have a distraught little heart during the first half of the program however because he thought his dear Aunt Debbie was going to come, but she wasn't able to. During every song, he would start to cry and run over to me where I was sitting on the stand, telling me he just couldn't sing because he would get so sad that Aunt Debbie wasn't there to hear him. After visiting my seat numerous times, getting off the stand to talk to Devin, and then a few more times at my seat, he finally decided to stop crying and participate. He then spent the next few minutes wiping his nose on his sleeve. When I finally realized he was creating quite a scene, I handed him a tissue and he blew his nose. He then showed what he blew in his tissue to his neighbor, waded up the tissue and threw it at me over the pulpit. AHHHH!!! But at least he wasn't crying. Fortunately we made it to the end. He had a happy face and had unbuttoned his shirt sleeves so he could wave them crazily in the air. Ah, primary programs...aren't they wonderful. They are my favorite meetings besides conference!
Anyway, to those who may glance at our blog...we hope all is well with you. Enjoy this next week preparing for Conference!

Aren't primary programs the best? :) I can't believe your boys are getting so old. See you on Friday? You better be there! :)
Hi Maren! This is Shelly, Hermana Stoddard =) It took me a day or so, but I finally realized that I could do some clicks and found your blog! Oh my goodness, your boys are sooo cute! And I love Conference way more than Primary Programs because I cannot make it through a PP without crying. Seriously, I have to look away and think about something else so I don't loose it. I don't even have a kid in Primary yet, either. It's just emotional because it's the sweetest thing in the world and apparently, I can't handle it! What's this? Now I'm hearing Carrie Underwood! Oh man, I am adding your blog to my list and will be checking in with you. I'll have to find an excuse to go to UT and see you and Nikki. I can't believe it's been so long. Thank you for dropping a hello and take care!
and see Rachel, too =)
Gotta love Primary programs. We went to visit my mom in Oregon and it was her wards program. Sarah asked to join them, so we let her go up and she sang right along. Not quite as eventful as yours, but always funny. :-)
